Have a 2009 Actyon Sports 4X4 dualcab diesel auto in Australia.
At 15,000km the auto trans began to shudder in top gear, is a known fault that appears in a few of them, was repaired with a complete auto trans swap over under warranty very quickly. Repairs & maintenance service is very good. Beautiful vehicle to drive.

I bought my 2007 actyon diesel suv 4X4 2 months ago with 86000 km, at 90000 km i noticed oil on the floor. I started it this morning and put it on D it just did not want to move. After some time i put it in 4 wheel drive and pressed the power button then only did it move. Finally i checked underneath and noticed oil on the floor.l dont know if takes transmision fluid or if has a hydraulic system, hoping the gearbox is not damaged. How do you check the gearbox oil.

Hi Corey , was just reading your review. Have 2010 Actyon sports with EXACTLY the same problems as yours. My car's gearbox went at 15,000 klm. Can you please tell me how your car is going now after the repairs? I'm at the start of getting mine repaired and Ssangyoung are giving me the run around. Thanks Jack

I own a 2007 Ssanyong Actyong Wagon and I love the look of her and how she makes me feel safe. I think the look is a bit classic and if a hatchback could take steroids then the Actyong is it! I don't think they are ugly at all! I am a single woman, have 2 - 4x4's the other is a Suzuki Jimny 1998 and needing to sell one of them as I am going back to studies. I still owe money on the Ssangyong and now I am finding the price has gone down a lot in a year! I am trying to toss up selling the older car or the Actyong? Also, I am worried about troubles if I do get them as it would be hard for parts.. Any thoughts?

So the day has come to pick my car up. The gearbox is in then i get a phone call. Yer your car will be ready today, but it does have low diesel. We will have to put some in but it's going to cost you $20 for us to fuel it and test drive it for you. Can you believe these people, they've had my car in for warranty longer than i had it (over a month now, into week 5) and they still wanna sting me $20 to put fuel in it so they can test it.... Although this is the dealer. Ssangyong themselves refuse to assist what so ever with my problems further than what they are required. Not happy with service, nor the product. Buyer Beware!!

So it has now been a month since my car has gone in for it's replacement gearbox, still no eta when the gearbox will come in, the dealer tells me Ssangyong know what the problem is with the gearbox but it is cheaper to fix it this way then to fix the problem in manufacture. So good on you guys put out your customers to save a few bucks... So my car costs me $1000 a month plus insurance... plus lost work due to no vehicle to perform it with. Wonder if they will fix me up for that to. Honestly people think seriously about your next Actyon or Kyron purchase. i'm told by the deal;er this is a common problem but it doesn't happen to every one.... do you want to take that risk?? Especially for those families that this would be their only car??
