Ultimate Car Club to launch in Sydney

In a month's time from now, the Ultimate Car Club will launch in Sydney, according to a post on enthusiast website Aussie Exotics. As you can imagine, given the history of previous exotic rental clubs, the reception hasn't been the greatest.

The club is said to launch with a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, Ferrari 599, Bentley Continental GTC and Maserati GranTurismo. We're also told that memberships will be $25,000 per year and "within that membership you can drive your selection/s for 20 days."

Ambitious? Perhaps. But we're told that the Ultimate Car Club's fleet is actually part of one of the directors' personal fleet.

What do you think? Given what happened with the Supercar Club, and in the current economic climate, will this sort of venture survive?
