India has better local brands than Proton. I don’t see any future for it.
Can it compete with Mahindra Renault Logan, Tata Indica, Tata Indigo or Suzuki cars?

the Proton Persona just got named car of the year in Malaysia, see pressportal.com.au. But why am i not surprised?

I don’t know, maybe India will take a liking to the new brand? Cheap cars are good cars?

Hopefully India will stick it to the Malaysian import (via an import tariff) in the same way that Malaysia sticks it up imports to their country.

Playing field should be level, no?
