Aston Martin V8 Vantage pricing
June 18, 2008 by Karl Peskett
Aston Martin has informed CarAdvice today of pricing for its updated V8 Vantage.
With revisions including an 11% increase in power, and a 15% increase in torque, the new Vantage pumps out 313kW and 470Nm from its enlarged V8.
Transmissions have been tickled, too, with the Sportshift gear control being revised for increased refinement and usablilty. The manual version also benefits from lighter pedal inputs, as well.
Front parking sensors, and new ECU key, and new wheels are all features available on the new Vantage.
Pricing is as follows:
· V8 Vantage Coupe (manual) – A$247,500
· V8 Vantage Coupe (Sportshift) – A$255,750
· V8 Vantage Roadster (manual) – A$271,500
· V8 Vantage Roadster (Sportshift) – A$279,750
According to Aston Martin Australia, these prices include the current 25% Luxury Car Tax, but not on-road costs.

Bargain! The new porsche 911 might still have it beat though.
Not with the exhaust note, beetle sound vs this awesome v8 sound… dont think so.
Ill admit that the exhaust note in the Aston is probably the single best ear-bleadingly wonderful sound in the world of cars but the Porsche is hardly quiet. Id buy the Aston over the Porsche anyday but CarAdvice – how about a twin test? Lets see which ones better ay?
One coupe in manual please – what a sexy car. Pure class. I’d have one over a Porsche any day.
