Land Rover DC100 Concept by Project Kahn

Land Rover has only just released preview images of the upcoming Land Rover DC100 Concept SUV it plans to unveil at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, and already renowned Land Rover/Range Rover tuner, Project Kahn, has come up with its own take on the new concept.

The new Land Rover DC100 has received mixed opinions upon its initial reveal. Some say the concept is too far from Land Rover's tradition, while others have said the DC100 is well worthy of carrying on the Land Rover Defender heritage. For those who weren't too fussed about the new concept, Project Kahn has come up with designs of what it could do with it.

The new Land Rover DC100 Concept will be used to test the reaction of the public to the potential future design of the Land Rover Defender. Land Rover is said to be targeting the new model towards the younger generations but at the same time wants stay in tune with the heritage of the Defender. Here, Project Kahn amplifies those characteristics.

There's a number of versions Project Kahn has come up with. There's a utilitarian 'Terrain' approach showcasing plenty of additional rough and tough off-road accessories, as well as a more friendly 'Surfer' beachcomber theme which is targeted at the younger market. Project Kahn has also come up with an army-based 'Military' theme and a stealthy and sporty '477' theme.

The Land Rover DC100 Concept will be officially unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show next Tuesday. In the meantime, what do you think? Do any of these Project Kahn Land Rover DC100s tickle your fancy?
