how could they do this to the supra?! yeah in a way it looks nice.. but its not a supra anymore.. they could atleast call it somethin else.. kinda almost looks like a boxy version of the Nissan 350z to me.

Theres no reason to change the body of the old Supra it was what made people like the Supra.All you should even think about doing to this car is proformance and interior modifying.Dont dare call that a supra call that the new celica

ah geez, geeks! apparently you’re driven more by your testosterone level for supra than letting your brain do the reading of the article, the RIGHT way… FT-HS is DUBBED ‘Supra’ because it can become like the next ‘Supra’! I doubt FT-HS will replace Supra, the original. It’s not Toyota’s intention. The company is trying to revive its supercar by manufacturing FT-HS, much like the Nissan GT-R is reviving its predecessors, the Skylines.

ive been a supra fan for a few years now, since i bought a 95 model rzs. ive been loving the way it has held its value. if toyota bring out another model this will change dramatically.

supra made a name for its self. nice curves, aerodynamic looks. its just got fast written all over it. the prototype brakes all of these things we have all come to enjoy about the supra.

if Toyota do launch this model, i hope they create a new name for it. celica’s have been around too long and have tainted their name, so it isn’t fitting to bring it back. the supra shape has won so many peoples hearts and should not be changed to fit the new styles of tomorrow.

I agree with you Rick that if Toyota did or they do bring back the Supra.. Mitsubishi should bring back the 3000GT.. And if Mitsubishi did bring back the 3000GT I would definitely have one.. The design the technology the performance & handling of the original was simply Awesome
