Frugal One….MB did not pioneer the folding metal roof, it was from an American car from the 60′s. I have own a current model SLK 350 and had the previous SLK 230 I have been reminded a few times the Germans did not invent this feature.

Overall the 350 (7 speed auto) is quite a quick car, you just dont see them driven fast.

As for a star in a sea of crap obviously you have not driven a SL 55, C63, E63 or E55 for that matter. Not to mention CLK 500 and a few others

F-O get it right, Peugeot pioneered the folding metal roof back in 1935, the SLK didnt start its life till 1998. another lame post by you in a seas of lame posts by you.
