Let’s hope that these are a lot better than the Civic Hybrid, a marketing exercise which is one of the few cars on the market which cannot match its claimed economy figures, even when driven under economy run conditions.
At the moment a (non-hybrid) Jazz makes a lot more sense, as its real-world economy is on a par with that of the Civic Hybrid, it’s more fun to drive and is immensely more practical, not to mention 30% less expensive to buy.

Blimey, the Jazz is frugal enough as it is… I’d question the benefit of adding hybrid technology to it. The extra weight and complexity won’t reap enough reward IMO to justify the extra cost.

Would this be a case of going green for green’s sake, so the marketing guys have an enviro-friendly story to tell?
