2011 Chrysler Grand Voyager updated for the UK

The 2011 Chrysler Grand Voyager has been updated in the UK, with upgrades to the exterior styling, and interior functionality and equipment.

The updated people mover now has a more elegant look, adopting the brand’s revised grille and new winged badge. The bonnet and lower fascia have been refreshed, while at the rear the Grand Voyager gets LED taillights, a new bumper and revised tailgate.

Chrysler Australia's Dean Bonthorne confirmed the updates were in line with the small model refresh already given to the Australian Grand Voyager a few months ago.

Mr Bonthorne said Chrysler Australia currently has its sights set on an all-new Grand Voyager model, which could arrive Down Under as early as 2012.

In Australia, the Grand Voyager is available in two models, the entry-level LX and the top-spec Limited. A 120kW/360Nm 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel is the only available drivetrain. The 142kW/305Nm 3.8-litre V6 petrol engine was phased out a couple of months ago, although Mr Bonthorne said he believed there were still a few available at some dealerships.

Note: Story updated July 8 with new information from Chrysler Australia.
