  3. XR_2 Capri says:

    Proton owns Lotus??????????????????????????????????????
So if your employer asks you to do, you do
It is a Toyota motor as well I think so why not stick it into them for that to.

  4. No Name says:

Yep another Lotus that looks like all other Lotus’s gone by. However with that engine performance will be ace and back to the supercar years of the Esprit. Thanks toyota for a decent engine, BMW units are obviously too expensive.

  5. Flying High says:

I think you will find it is a YAMAHA motor – the same as used in the Celica and Corolla. Toyota got that motor from Yamaha.

  6. Flying High says:

In the previous models of Lotus that is….

  7. Mitch says:

i think you will find its the 3.5 v6 from the Aurion & Rav4, a 1.8 wouldnt be powerful enough for this car.

  8. Frugal-One says:

Looks like BigT is in the box seat to buy Lotus as soon as it is for sale.

Won’t be long, Malaysia GovCo cannot go on funneling money into a loss making enterprise

    Cheers

  9. lotus engineer says:
