beautiful car overall I think.

But it WILL dent sales on the GTi and R32…
It doesnt make sense to make a mid-market hatch for VW again. They already have 2 really really good models in that segment.

Unless this is priced closed to six figures…. But I doubt that. That’ll be crazy….

Maybe have a detachable wing, on for racing and off for dinner dates, makes sense doesn’t it? I think this formidable hot hatch though should have a more dynamic colour scheme.

observations about the car generally IMO – front looks good but side view is somewhat unimaginative and all to similar to other cars (Fiat Ritmo and Civic of old).
Don’t the Germans love to tune up cars and do it really well.
