im pretty sure the reason they say they loose money is because this car cost i think $2 billion dollars to make and so they would have to make 6.6 milion per car if they were making 300 of em to brake even. but since they sell them for like 2.5 and not much of that would be profit they loose money in the long run. i could be wrong but i pretty sure im not. and by the way nice looking car.

I think the Veyron interior/color/rims should be customisable, built to owners order, if they want all suede, all carbon fibre let it be. But also have the default config…. Instead of bringing out these limited editions.

For the price you pay, Id expect a ‘Car makeup artist’ when you make the purchase of the car to either do a look and feel that suites you, or help you make your decisions.

I don’t think people who can easily afford these cars are worried about resale which custom jobs directly affect…

I agree that no way they would be losing money, I would believe they would have absorbed all the R&D, facility, F&F etc from the previous sales.

Whilst we weren’t shown the books, our sources at Bugatti say that they make money on every Veyron sold. Having seen the operation and how careful they run it, I believe them.

How can they keep making it more desirable – it should be banned :)

The stories that they lose money on every one they sell are sounding less plausible every day. If they were losing as much money as rumoured, why would they want to keep offering more desirable versions?

Damn! – the ticket in the $47mil didn’t work, it was shared by 2 people in NSW.

I was going to get one of these :)
