2008 Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class

Mercedes-Benz has today confirmed Australian pricing and specifications for the new-generation CLS-Class saloon.

The self-proclaimed four-door coupé will be available in three model grades; the CLS 350, CLS 500 and CLS 63 AMG.

The new three-car CLS-Class receives only subtle revisions to its exterior styling but improved levels of standard equipment.

On the outside, LED technology is now deployed for the brake lamps, tail lamps and side mirror-mounted indicator lamps whilst the radiator grille, rear apron, tail lights and tail pipes have all been improved.

The three models retain their engine specifications: the 200 kW CLS 350 V6, the powerful 285 kW CLS 500 V8 and the CLS 63 AMG, powered by a 6.3-litre aluminium V8, which boasts 378 kW.
