This car is awesome. Jay Leno is cool I guess, but I’ve never enjoyed his show that much. It’s really hard to dislike someone that has an amazing car collection like him though! So guess props to you Jay.

Great we have something in common, our first car was a Nessaaaaaannnn, cant they say Nissan or Chassis?
Golfy and I saw one last week in Perth, better in real life I have to say and much larger than I anticipated!
I do have to ask,why these days dont all manufactures use bonnet struts? One would think in a car like this it should have.
Love its launch mode, that is cool! Interesting what he said about how he feels that Japanese cars dont have emotion, interesting! Although I thing he quiet likes this is the end! Did he buy one ???
Great garage though………..what a collection!
Camski
Bavarian MIssile – Could it be the weight that they don’t use gas lifts to keep the bonnet open?

Gas always fail after a few years, leaving you with a saggy or dangerous self closing bonnet – sometimes simple is best.
This car still amazes me every time I see it. Cannot wait for the V-Spec to stun us again.

You wouldn’t think so would you Camski……do Nissan still use them in all their cars?

Bonnet gas struts are for Camry’s ang Golfs, real cars have a manual operated bar, awesome.
US-69K, so bloody unfair.

Realy……what real cars?????????? Other than this and Mondeo’s so I found at the Perth Motor show when I popped the bonnet!
Wheelnut
BTVQ38DETT – yeah great the old single manual bar which if you accidentally dislodge whilst working on your engine etc would cause the bonnet to come crashing down on your head.. mind you serves you right I guess for putting faith in such a stupid feature. I mean you might as well use a broomstick
modern cars have the pneumatic struts but real cars have the cantilever springs

This thing absolutely kills anything BMW has to offer for a fraction of the cost
