2012 BMW 1 Series M Sport pack revealed

BMW and M Division have released the first images and details of the new 2012 BMW 1 Series M Sport package. The standard car was only unveiled to the public yesterday yet M Division is already prepared to spice things up a bit.

Like many other models in BMW's range, the M Sport pack merely garnishes models with a bit of extra zing for sportier handling and a more personalised look. With the new 1 Series, that attitude is no different.

M Division has come up with a subtle bodykit with a more aggressive front bumper, incorporating sharper side vents and a deeper chin (compared with the standard model above), as well as a redesigned rear bumper which continues the theme from the revised side skirts.

Inside, there's a light peppering of 'M' branded trimmings, including a sportier leather-wrapped steering wheel, M gear knob and boot, and a number of brushed aluminium highlights and borders with matching pedals. There's also the traditional M side sill aluminium plates placed inside all doors.

The M Sport pack also includes newly designed alloy wheels to compliment the look. The 2012 BMW 1 Series will go on sale in Australia around the end of this year. Pricing of the M Sport pack is yet to be announced.
