Earlier this week General Motors announced the official power output of its Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 supercar, and has now showcased the cars unofficial top speed of 330km/h in this amazing video.
An engine eagerly speculated to feature in the HSV line-up sometime in the not too distant future, the LS9 powerplant is a 6.2L supercharged V8 producing 476kW and 819Nm.
This makes it GM’s most powerful engine – ever, and is hand built by specially trained technicians at GM’s Performance Build Center in Wixom, Michigan alongside HSV’s LS7 engine for the W427.
