Skoda Fabia vRS 2000 unveiled at Worthersee

Skoda has unveiled a new concept vehicle called the Skoda Fabia vRS 2000 at the world's largest Volkswagen and Audi show at Worthersee, Germany. The car is based on the company's Super 2000 world rally car, presented in a stylish chop-top roof design.

Fitted with four buckets seats, this is perhaps the first ever four-seater convertible rally car. Showcasing an awesomely fat wide-body stance just like the race version, the Fabia vRS 2000 was one of the main attractions at the Skoda stand.

Since it is a concept, designers had very little boundaries to take on board while developing the unique look. The roof appears to have been literally sliced off diagonally, leaving exposed frameless windows all around.

Even though there is very little chance of the concept turning into a production model, the idea of driving one around the hills Monaco sure does tickle our fancy. Especially if the car is fitted with a high-revving, naturally-aspirated Super 2000 2.0-litre engine and driveline package.
