MINI Australia has slashed $3000 off the price of its popular ‘Chilli’ options package for most models, with the pack now available for just $900.
The Chilli package – a comprehensive combination exterior and interior styling enhancements, and comfort and technology features – adds more than $5500 worth of extras to selected models.
The 77 percent price reduction applies to all MINI Cooper, Cooper S and Cooper D hatch models, as well as the Cabrio and Clubman models.
There is currently a 62 percent take-up of the $3900 Chilli package among buyers of these models, and that is certain to grow following the price drop.

MINI Australia’s Lucy McLellan said the only model not to benefit from the Chilli package price reduction was the MINI Countryman.
Ms McLellan said prices of the Countryman would be unchanged as the model is brand new and comes with a very different level of standard specifications to the smaller MINI models.
