You see Rudd’s ability to speak Mandarin as the core ingredient of his intent to start a new world order. Maybe he’s just very clever. All of us should know a second language, and aspire for a third.

The shipping costs would be different for each capital city so I don’t think it’s statistically valid to compare fuel prices anyway. In Perth we only have 1 oil refinery that supplies the whole state – this would have more of an impact on the average price than the fuelwatch scheme in my opinion.

Having used the fuelwatch scheme, I don’t think it’s a bad idea… you still have a price cycle, and it’s handy as you can check tomorrows prices of fuel at any bowser anywhere in the state.
