…still, ten years ago the idea of a 1000Nm supercar built by Volkswagen would also have seemed silly.

It may be able to get around one lap in less than 12 but its needs to be a flying lap therefore it needs to do 2 laps unless it gets filled up a bit before so t can get a rolling start.

I thought flat out it would empty the tank in 12 minutes? Because it would get around there a hell of a lot faster than 12 minutes.

It’s only got a slow lap time at Nurburgring because it can’t carry enough fuel for a flat out lap :)

Looking at the lap times @ Nurb. in Germany, i am rather surprised how SLOW this 1000+BHP vehicle is.

VW know that, its why they did/nt allow TopGear to track test it.

A Ultima GTR is THE quickest registered track-car on the planet.

Maybe C/A could do a story on Ultima Co.?
