I HAVE TO AGREE WITH YA PEOPLE, G6E TURBO IS A REALLY SWEET LIMO! I USED TO DRIVE ALL SORTS OF V8S AND BIG 6.0L CAPRICES AND CALAIS MODELS, THEY WERE REALLY GOOD AND PLEASING, BUT THIS THING IS A VERY MANEUVERABLE, EASY TO USE, MORE COMFORTABLE, MORE ECONOMICAL, TORQUEY WEAPON, 270KW OF POWER, 533NM AND WITH OVER BOOST 586NM THAT CAN LAST UP TO 7 OR 8 SECONDS UNDER PEDAL TO THE METAL, ITS AMAZING! , WE ARE TALKING ABOUT LITERALLY 98% OF F6 310 PERFORMANCE HERE FOR LESS $$$, A REAL RIPPER! , I OWN ONE AND AFTER 2000KS OF DRIVING THIS THING I THINK THAT THIS IS GOING TO BE MY CAR FOR THE NEXT 10 YEARS AND I WILL NEVER SELL IT FOR ANOTHER 10 SUMMERS BECAUSE THIS IS IT, BIG 4.0, TURBO, REFINED AND A KING OF THE ROAD ONCE AGAIN, SO FAR I’VE SAID GOODBYE TO A FEW C63S, LS3S AND M5/M6 BMWS, EVEN A KISS OF DEATH TO A SIMILAR F6 MY WORK MATE OWNS, THIS G6E IS A TRUE VALUE FOR $$$, YOU SHOULD BUY ONE, SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR 6.0L COMMODORE AND BUY THIS, TRUE AUSSIE I6. i currently own a BA XT 5.4L V8, i really love it, had it for 7 years now, and now it has 295000ks on clock, will get rid of it after i drove the G6E, despite the V8s low end push and shuv, once the G6E gets over 2000rpm it leaves my current 5.4L for dead.

On roll starts the V8 holds up for 4 seconds and then the G6E Turbo leaves it for dead once again …. that is 60-160km/h.

I am amazed.

The G-series is the Falcon model that doesn’t look a lot like the outgoing BF. The XT and XR versions have a lot of resemblance to their predecessors, which may affect the FG’s overall impact in trying to win back people to buy larger cars, let alone trounce on the Commodore. The G6 grille is fantastic – could easily be linked to Lincoln, but unfortunately, it won’t be made in LHD.

not an independant reviewer yet has been able to get anywhere near the acceleration times claimed by holden. it’s much slower than claimed. even with the new 6.2L engine. now the new falcons on the other hand seem to be faster than claimed. this g6e turbo really is the business. I’m salivating at the thought of what the typhoon will do. pity they aren’t awd.

FORD FALCON G6E TURBO also 0-100 5.1sec what a shame Ford are going to kill of one of the best,if not the best engine there got in there world wide engine arsenal.

Ford have got it right here but really there is still something awkward and forced about that rear end. sorry – but its hasnt grown on me like the rest of the car. But thats a holden fan being picky. If thats all i can complain about i think that means ford has a winner here.

Best falcon in the range.. hands down.

im not so much a fan of black leather anymore it makes the interior feel depressing i like the cream bottom with black top area.Plus those who say cream is dirty are kidding themselves in leather all you do is wipe the seats.
