This or Calais, its said that the Calais doesnt come standard with leather trim.

  • Duck

Thats hard because exterior wise the Calais still looks good.

Its good to see that Ford has chosen different tail lights to differentiate between XT and G-series. This is one thing Holden has done well since VY. Ford did it first with the EL though…..

  • Duck

    ^Dont u mean since the VQ/VN?

  • BOSSCR

    Well Duck,

If you want to get technical, GMH did it with the VH SLE in the form of some bolt on reflectors….

At the end of the day, i think it was a good move….

It was a good move BOSSCR

Just had a look at one this morning, an amazing car. Had a look then at a Calais V. All I can say is Holden, you’ve got nothing

Even though is car is new, the looks aren’t, the front has a slight cosmetic change and the rear is a combination of the 2004 & 2000 models, at least the interior has changed

I have just picked mine up, in ego with the cashmere interior

I bought a 2009 G6E second hand in November 2010 colour Seduce. Ive found the car to be very competent on all surfaces and a real pleasure to drive. Only two points in the negative, you get a space saver spare wheel and the reverse camera is no good in the rain due to water on the lens giving a blurred picture. Performance is great and ZF six speed gear box gives good economy for a car of this size. My previous car was a Falcon EF Futura. There is no comparison between the two.
