Agree that quality is important.Alfa and Fiat I am sure have moved on in these terms as everybody else has. It is easy to cast our minds back to the seventies and eighties when the quality of these marques was dubious. Then again the quality of everything else was dubious also to varying extents.

Japanese cars were poor riding/handling/underpowered boarding on the dangerous. They had more standard kit than the locals but their ability to rust and break down was about equal.

Alfa has the look down now, all they need to do is get the quality and marketing right, and they will be laughing all the way to the bank. Can’t wait to see a MiTo in the flesh.

I was looking at the Fiat website today (sister company) and even their cars are great looking pieces of kit. The Ritmo Sport 1.9 JTD is a stunner.

Ive never been a fan of Alphas but I would quite happily own this one, such a beautiful looking car. I do like the Competizione a little more though.

That’s a very pretty car.

Styling is influenced by retro themes but doen’t look “old”
