Wild Camaro accessories spied
April 8, 2008 by George Skentzos
Despite not even being on sale yet, the design of the Chevrolet Camaro is widely known, with the complete car having been unveiled almost a year ago in the Hollywood blockbuster Transformers.
Latest spy shots reveal the car is undergoing a significant visual overhaul, with GM experimenting with a range of optional visual accessories.
Members of the Camaro5 forum have captured hi-res images of a Camaro mule sporting a unique matte livery, chrome headlight garnish mock-up, an aggressive clay aerokit, sporty matte black wheels and oversized rear spoiler.
Recent shots of the Camaro testing at the Nurburgring also reveal an upgraded Brembo brake package could possibly be on the cards.

if they can hold it togather and all those plastic bits dont come off… that will be one sick looking car.
and with america being mecca for aftermarket stuff, its gona be fun to watch what comes out of this car… sema will be alot more………..retro i guess

Leave it alone! The Camaro in transformers is a work of art. The only pretty car to come out of america in the last 25 years besides the corvette (ok maybe the GT40 but it shouldnt count cause it dosent look too much different from the original)
AussieCars, I think you’re forgetting about the Mustang that actually spearheaded the retro muscle car design.
Can’t wait for this to hit the roads, roll on what a ripper.
When the yanks get it right that really get it right!

According to http://www.edmunds.com The Camaro will, in fact, be built on the same production line in Australia as the Pontiac G8 and its Holden-branded brethren.
Good new’s for Holden and Australia! So why did GM ditch the idea of making it in Canada Wheelnut?
I have no idea – Yet there has been no official announcement from GM as yet.
I still tend to think Canada will get the job as Holden will be flat out making Commodores G8s Utes; Crewman Statesman and Sportwagon for OZ US Middle East and UK markets.
Then theres the TT-36 Torana which will become the new Pontiac G6 and [I suspect] the new more compact Commodore beyond 2012 which could also include a Coupe – like the A9X
However; If The Camaro is built here there is only one viable option for Hodlen.. Take over Tonsley Park as to expand the Elizbeth Plant will be too expensive time consuming and disruptive to their current operations
^^Agreed! Are u sure holden is going ahead with the VE Crewman?
Not A VE Crewman but a VF Crewman [in 2010] as GMC will be using the same unitary platform for the new “Denali”
OK Thanks Wheelnut!
Oh please please please can we get this car in Aust.
