		<description>Why can&#039;t Ford Australia put the supercharged V8 in the GT? Their 6 is continuing to make the V8 look lame. Boy racers may want blow off valves and whooshing noises, but the premium top of the range model should be the v8, oh and it should also be the fastest! 4litre boosted to the knackers producing 310kW is not a recipe for reliability, economy will be shocking, and it will be faster than the v8! What are they doing? Ford US have no problems using the right powerplant. This continues to be all bad news for a great marque.</description>

Most of the aftermarket tuners have only managed around 320kw from N/A..Shame really for what is a good package..</description>

The GT has always been the performance king at Ford, and at one time the world for many years.
After seeing the new FPV power figures F6 310kw and GT 315kw Ford has banished the GT to the back blocks. 
Once the performance car king that all others looked up to is now a mere shadow of it&#039;s former self..
Looks like HSV is definately getting my money from now on.</description>

ATM the GT is virtually a Fairmont with a decklid and racing stripes
