Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT design study

Having just come from the Gold Coast leg of the Aston Martin's DBS launch, we can tell you now, this is not a car Aston is going to build any time soon, it's simply one man's dream of what the V8 Vantage should look like.

The current V8 vantage is without a doubt one of the most beautiful cars on the road today, so any attempt to make it look better must be done with extreme skill.

The concept designs come from Adam Gompertza, a former MG Rover employee (sounds odd, we know).

.

Gompertza says the major inspiration has come to him from the old DB3S and DB4 GT Zagato, not only for design, but also for purpose. Apparently the V8 GT is suppose to be the car which enhances the racing tradition of Aston Martin.

It would be fascinating if the upcoming V12 Vantage would take on board some of the more aggressive ideas in this design, but, how can you make perfect, even better?
