Nice sketches, and a great attempt at capturing that Vantage essence in a more performance-pitched form. The first, front-view one is especially good – the crisper lines around the grill and the angry headlights add a level of aggression that these performance variants seem to warrant. That said, I still prefer the existing exterior, and like Kenzo suggested, Aston should put its effort into fixing some of the well-known short comings – better build-quality and engine etc.

no need for personal insults. i think the car is already spoilt when they used cheap ford parts in the interior. not that most people would mind with such a good exterior but there is space for improvement

leave the exterior. put in a german engine and ask ferrari to design the interior and get lexus to put the car together. top it off with lexus sales and service and warranty.

I love it, although I love the current V8 Vantage just as much. come to think of it, I prefer the traditional Vantage look, it really is just superb.

Aston have come a long way.

how nice would it be if just once, they can make a car look as good in real life as the paper sketches of the artist – not to say there is anything wrong with an AM in real life – but many other regular type car companies would do well to make their cars look like the artist intended rather than a lame duck….
