Subaru is commemorating the anniversary of rally ace Richard Burns’ death. No they are not giving money to charity or improving safety, they are doing something far more useful, they are releasing the fastest Impreza, ever. A special edition Impreza, the RB320.
The Impreza RB320 comes with the Impreza WRX STi’s performance pack to boost power to 316bhp and it does the 0-100km/hr dash in just 4.8 seconds. Yep thats bloody fast, beats the standard STis 5.4 seconds with its eyes closed. These figures make it the quickest and most powerful Impreza ever, and its a cop magnet… just look at it!
The RB320 comes with unique 18in alloy wheels with Prodrive made suspension. This beautiful rex is lowered by 10mm at the rear and 30mm at the front. Other RB320 specific parts include a revised rear anti-roll bar, chrome mesh front grille, front lip spoiler, quickshift gearchange, sill plates and gear knob. Owners also receive an individually numbered black alloy tax-disc holder.
Speaking of owners, there is absolutely no chance you can buy this here in Australia as its a limited release in the UK, I know its a big shame, but there is the possibility of an import, however by the time you’ve actually got the car in your garage, it might have been cheaper to just mod the hell out of your STi!
The car costs $74,000 AUD, but it looks like its worth every cent.
