Renault-owned Romanian automotive brand Dacia has just released a very limited edition SUV. It’s called the Dacia Duster École de Ski Français, which translates into something like École Ski School (ESF) instructor’s car, and it’s available to instructors only.

That’s one way to keep a car very exclusive, restrict which consumers are actually able to purchase the model. In this case, only French skiing instructors are allowed to buy this particular specification Dacia Duster. The Duster is based on Nissan’s B0 platform which is then garnished in features to support the life of a typical ski instructor.

It might seem a bit silly, but the special edition was actually created to mark a successful 10-year partnership milestone between Renault and ESF ski school. The version is based on the Dacia Duster Lauréate 4×4 and comes with a 1.5-litre diesel four-cylinder producing 82kW of power.

Special features include a one-off Glacier White paint job, high-strength aluminium sump guard covers, roof bars with a removable ski rack that can accommodate four sets of skis, heated electric side mirrors, fog lights, tray-style floor mats and a set of 16-inch wheels fitted with special Continental winter tyres.

Priced from 18,990 euro (around $26,000), it’s not bad for a highly exclusive car. All you need now is your French skiing instructor’s licence.
