Lexus LF-Gh concept teased ahead of New York Auto Show

Lexus has released teaser images of the Lexus LF-Gh concept ahead of its world premiere at the 2011 New York International Auto Show on April 20.

According to Lexus, the LF-Gh (which stands for Lexus Future Grand Touring Hybrid) is designed to “redefine the premium grand touring sedan”.

The LF-Gh sports an evolution of the Japanese marque’s 10-year-old L-Finesse design language, introducing sharper, bolder angles that draw inspiration from the LF-A supercar.

Lexus has confirmed the gaping ‘spindle’ front grille “hints at the new face of Lexus vehicles”.

The LF-Gh is expected to form the basis of the next generation LS hybrid sedan, although Lexus has only gone so far as to say the concept “conveys original thoughts and ideas that may migrate to future Lexus vehicles on a global scale”.

CarAdvice will bring you full details of the Lexus LF-Gh when it debuts at New York is two weeks’ time.
