2011 Suzuki Swift X-ITE accessories released in Germany

By Brett Davis |

Suzuki Germany has just released a number of optional sports accessories for the 2011 Suzuki Swift. Branded as ‘X-ITE’, the accessories allow buyers to customise their Swifts for a more personalised and individual touch.

Accessories available spread from a range of exterior and interior enhancements. On the outside, the full X-ITE package includes sporty decals along the side of the car, new 17-inch charcoal-coloured alloy wheels wrapped in performance tyres, and a bespoke body kit incorporating a redesigned front bumper and front apron, stylish side skirts and a rear tailgate spoiler.

The X-ITE program gives buyers a chance to spruce up the interior as well. Possible revisions include brushed aluminium details such as a new sports gear knob as well as a set of stainless steel door sill kick panels to match the steel theme. Special edition X-ITE sports floor mats complete the package, detailed in silver stitching and ‘X-ITE’ logos.

Suzuki says the range of accessories can be bought individually or as a complete set. Prices start from 65 euro (around $90) for the door sill panels and go up to 620 euro (around $854) for the 17-inch alloy wheels. The accessories are available now through supporting German Suzuki dealerships.

It might not be much, but little details like this give buyers a chance to personalise their cars in a tasteful way without compromising the fundamentals of the car. What do you think, should Suzuki Australia follow the trend?
