Love black and red/black combo , but this is a touch too much , tone it down boys .
Still some in the back woods might like it .
I think the red and black (although great colours for an AFL team) is a bit too much for my liking. The white and black (although bad for an AFL team) looks great. It reminds me of an mates ’71 Capri GT with a black and white houndstooth check interior. Ford Aus short atleast give their customers some more options, but not the body side tattoos….
the red on the inside a bad choice hopefully no sane person picks it, especially with all the other red surfaces. The car wouldn’t look out of place in Amsterdam’s red light district.
Black side mirror. lol i can’t believe people pay extra for this. In the 80′s colour coded mirrors was a big deal !
Firstly, they “Americanise” the grille and bumper and ruin the front end design of a great looking little car…and now this? It’s a big red and black “no” from me.
i agree it just looks soooo….. American :/
The smaller grille hugely improves the look for me.
oh so outlandish amounts of red in the interior is ok on an “aussie” SSV
and normally in the US, big chrome grills are the way to go, its hardly americanised
Ford America altered the the original, Euro Fiesta’s front end design specifically for the North American market. I think that qualifies it as Americanised…big chrome grille or not.
The adjustments to the bumper were purely to comply with local pedestrian crash regulations, not a styling exercise. Most commenters on american sites I have read agree the euro model is the better looker
CA says “Ford’s stylists admitting they were inspired by famous women’s fashion designer Stella McCartney”
Ford are idiots. Stella McCartney’s a vegetarian and doesn’t support the use of leather. Oh hang on, look at all the leather in that interior…
why don’t they just offer 3 or so different body kits when you buy a car
I applaud Ford for getting the Fiesta into the US and I applaud other car makers for getting their small cars over there too, but this red pack isn’t the best… The exterior is fine but the interior is vomit-inducing. Imaging driving the bloody thing! The White is much nicer and is actually rather funky!
If the idea is to offer indivuality, 3 body kits wouldn’t be enough cjoice to look different. And in Aus if they wanted to do a ‘special’ linked to a fashion designer, they could try a ‘Dinnigan’ (or other designer) edition, a-la the Laser Carla Zampartti from many years ago…
I’m sure there’d be a female market, and even a certain type of ‘male’ as well….
