I agree but we need to understand the Germans finally did something that was missing since the early 70’s…Stability.

When the Americans & Malayians had it, they were in constant financial trouble.
But then again it maybe coincidence as the 80’s-90s werent friendly to supercar purchases. Bad financial times.

As long as one model, the Murcilago does not share audi parts this will be fine.

WHO WOULD SAY THIS….the Aurion can do 0-100 in 1.7secs, does 2.178litres/100 and will do more if you change the tyres to even skinnier ones.

Sorry it was me who started to Toybota bit. Just gettin at TP.

This only makes good economic sense, but the real reason is under new european legislation manufacturers have to have an average CO2 output of something like 150g/km by year 2012 or some other date (can;t remember). Porcshe are unable to achieve this in their own rights without VW, hence they are going to produce hybrids like the panamera and cayenne!

Can a Aurion really outsprint a Veyron TP.

Toyota’s are the motoring worlds equivalent of whitegoods. Every Toyota I see I think it’s owner is either A) driving a company car; or B) spent as much time deciding which car to buy as I did deciding which washing machine to buy.
You can TRD all you like, but they a lieka fridge with an automatic ice dispenser. ‘Oooh ahhh’ when you first see it then you wonder why.

Isn’t ironic that Porsche, founded by the son of Ferdinand Porsche (The founder of VW) would one day take over VW. And why is everyone talking about Toyota’s on this forum? Anyway, just to cleat something up for you Dlr1, Toyota’s are boring because they have uninspiring engine’s, exterior/interior design, and are as fun to drive as reading the Bible.

Are Golfs and Passats as boring to the Germans as a Falcon Xt or Commodore Omegas are here?

Perhaps many of the germans are considered exotic here because of their price and numbers sold but over there an E class is also a taxi.
