The iQ does look great but it’s just hit the streets over here in the UK with a price tag of £9255 and that’s for the entry level model!

It’s hard to imagine – even with the economy it returns and the fact it’s road tax exempt – that many will trade in their old cars for the iQ.

These cars would be a little inconvenient in Australia. Only 2 seats, don’t need cars to be this small, etc.

Sure most super cars have 2 seats as well, but they something you admire but the Smart For2’s and Toyota IQ’s you don’t.

I think the iQ will give the Smart a nice run. Way better looking.

Ford stock price = $5

i definately think toyota can hit the right spot with this vehicle.

im sure there would be plenty of city going uni travellers that would opt for such a vehicle.

my biggest question is how will they price it?
are they trying to enter a sub $10K vehicle to the market?

yeah buggers me how they reached 5 star safety ratings (if they did)
stars obviously cant be compared between categories.
i mean you cant tell me you would rather be in a high 5 star rated focus over a 4 star rated falcon if you were to have a prang.
same goes for this……..
would you rather be in this apparent 5 star shoe box rather than a 4 star Aurion if you were set to have a prang……….

You have to marvel at Toyota for being able to enter every segment virtually so quickly!! with quite possibly better products than their founders!
