The lithium-ion battery used in the G4e makes do with vanadium, which according to the Japanese manufacturer makes it possible to significantly increase range by increasing energy density.

You can always just plug the thing in using the front bumper plug. This allows for a quick charge at home or for fast charging on the road.

I take it this is not AWD?

  2. Andrew M says:

you gotta love car makers technicallitys they get away with.
i suppose “technically” the car itself doesnt emitt anything, but it is still responsible for emittions isnt it.
its pretty much just juggling the numbers around and hiding the emission figures elsewhere

  3. Janet says:

    When can I buy one?
    How much will it cost?
Subaru should hurry up and get it to market as several Chinese companies are ready to go global with their EV’s.
And no the emissions are not hidden elsewhere, not if you charge with off peak electricity or have home solar panels.
