The Lexus LF-A has gone topless with the Roadster variant. Powered by a 4.8-litre engine producing around 350kW, the Lexus is expected to take on the best from Germany.

It is still unknown if the engine will be placed in front or in a mid position, as the rear-mounted radiators suggest.

They’ll reckon that the will bring out the coupe before the roadster convertible.
Look at the size of the rump and the level of the bonnet/hood its gonna be a mid engine. Just a few holes drilled in the body for ventilation.
Also looking at the overall size, shape and wheelbase it won’t handle like say a Porsche or R8.
However the Aurion its sister Co car will thrash the pants off this leaving in trails of smoke from those skinny front base model tyres eh TP.
Overall it looks like a less appealing; japanese version of a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyser.
Koenigsegg use a similar sized engine and they are able to make one of the worlds fastest most powerful cars [1000hp]. what’s more they did it with 1/4 the budget as Lexus.
The only real difference is that Koenigsegg bolted on a blower.. and we all know about Toyotas experience with superchargers [Aurion]
Morning Wheelnut – you’re eating your cornflakes and i’m drinking wine.
hope the Lexus handles better than their last roadster barge eh!
