Toyota 86 wins first 24 Hours Nurburgring race
The Toyota 86 has proven its sporting metal at the 40th ADAC 24 Hours Nurburgring claiming two class wins in its first attempt at the motorsport marathon. Gazoo Racing's Toyota 86 (pictured top) took first place in its SP3 class while completing 129 laps of 'The Green Hell' to finish overall in 46th position.

Casey Stoner quits MotoGP, looks to V8 Supercars

Audi TT: auto option shift for three new models
Audi's 'S tronic' automatic transmission has given rise to three additional Audi TT models. The dual-clutch gearbox is now available in the TT Coupe 1.8 TFSI, TT Roadster 1.8 TFSI and TT Coupe 2.0 TDI quattro. With the seven-speed S tronic transmission on board, the 118kW/250Nm 1.

Seat releases Spanish racers
Seat has released the Ibiza SC Trophy and Leon Super Copa, two racing cars based on the Seat Ibiza and Seat Leon passenger cars. The two cars from Volkswagen Group's Spanish brand will join the Skoda Citigo Rally concept car at this week’s Worthersee show - the largest Volkswagen car show in Europe.

    such a beasty looking car. literally… reminds me of the Predator mask(s). Silver, white and black finish looks subtle but the red finish makes it look like it just wants to tear anything on its path.

    Don’t you just love it. TP hates the interiors though apparently the Aurions is far better quality. ;)

    And to think the R8 is Audis first attempt at a supercar not bad for a company that is considered to be bland and boring. They keep getting better and better, no wonder BMW and Mercedes are starting to team up I guess they are starting to look over their shoulder, abit late I think they have just gone past.

    I like to think of the Audi R8 as the Veyrons smaller; more practical/sensible cousin.. not to mention better looking!

    I looooooooooooove that shade of RED and that more aggressive front design plus it is slightly more environmentally friendly than compared to a petrol V12, that has got to be a good thing for people in this world who want fast cars but have a small environmental conscience and ethic.
