Meet the new D3 Bi-Turbo Coupé based on the BMW 3-Series. Using a 2-litre twin turbodiesel engine, the Alpina tuned Beamer produces 160kW of power and 450 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm.

But the selling point is its emission rating of just 139 grams of CO2 per kilometre.

The car makes do with a 6-speed automatic gearbox with SWITCH-TRONIC.

Don’t expect it in Australia though!

And the diesel does it again, Why only the 2.0litre why not the 3.0litre twin turbo, or do they do that already.
I’d forgotten about Alpinas as everyone is talking about M3’s and 5’s. Rare as Hens. Love it.
the 2 litre might be lighter in the front of the car to increase handling
But the 3 series in standard form already uses the 3.0litre engine Mitch. funny my surname is mitchelmore seems like i’m talking to myself.
The 2.0 is so that it gets ~45 mpg. This is designed to be a really nice daily driver rather than a speed demon. Personally this is the exact combination I would want, but it’s unavailable in the USA, and for the same price in the US I could get an M3.
