Video: 2012 BMW M5 preview with BMW M president
It was only yesterday that BMW M released a special teaser video of the next-generation BMW M5. The company has just released an extended version that briefly showcases a pre-production M5 being driven on the snow in addition to some comments by Dr Kay Segler, president of BMW M GmbH.
The video is a little bit confusing as Dr Segler likes to speak in inside-out point-form fashion, but from what we gather M Division wants you to jot down your expectations of the next M5 and send them to the company's website. Take a look below for more details.
No specific information on the new car is mentioned in the video, but as far as we know the car will feature a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 producing around 430kW of power. The solution to the BMW M5 transmission dilemma is also yet to be announced.
