Perhaps one of the best acceleration test reviews we’ve seen so far, Autocar has just celebrated its 5000th car review by taking the latest and greatest Bugatti Veyron Super Sport out on an empty runway and given it the beans.
The Autocar team manages to get some very impressive acceleration numbers out of the car, recording a 0-96km/h time of just 2.6 seconds and a quarter-mile time of just 10.1 seconds – simply mind-blowing figures normally only associated with supersport motorbikes.
