Speaking to a sales rep today he mentioned mitsu are "streamlining" models. Expect colt to be mini hatch only, Lancer to be sedan, hatch and hero, outlander as small suv/sportswagon. I'm currently buying a CJ ES and it was odd, I mentioned the tyre noise and instantly got offered "sound deadening" material for the boot.. They’re selling the CH sportswagen for a short while yet but there will be no CJ wagon because they’re selling the outlander which is on the same platform.

Front Design evokes feel of the 60's Mustangs. But aggressive front means it will put off conservative buyers of the standard models, so may not have mass appeal. Whilst Australia will most likely miss out on the 1.5-litre and diesel variants which will be on offer in Europe.
