TP...also your desription on fuel consumption is now accurate i.e "...your going to get great performance with fuel consumption that is in line with cars with half the power". It just came across brash to state small car efficiency but alas it will be a fuel saving with an insane 0-100kms in a stupid low 4seconds!

TP...I agree with hybrids over diesels in medium term (the rest on here are short term looking at diesel) that as I said before they will nut out smaller batteries with huge capabilities, will be longer distances travelled between charges, rapid quick charge when empty, more power top up from when braking and using the non-electric motor. Its not a matter of "IF" but "WHEN" as the Japanese are notorious for tiny detail (the others are catching up hey) I have always said I like the look and would be sweet as to leave fairly much as is....the game is changing and they are on right track.

NM I dont think Alien would still be able to see your point, what I stated is correct... the idea by Toyota is great; your going to get great performance with fuel consumption that is in line with cars with half the power. I never said it wouldnt be pricey, even if it wasnt a hybrid it would be... I cant think of any decent cars that do the 100 in 4s that are cheap!!! In the past I have been critical of its looks, these pictures have changed that, from a more natural angle it actually looks quite nice.

Its only a concept - there are features there that are not able to be put into production. The basic looks are good but it'll be watered down

ALIEN thanks for dropping by and landing on this great website as cant remember seeing you visit before... my point is this is what TP who is well known on this site said of this vehicle on the other thread story:

Supercar performance with small car fuel efficiency… this is a winning formula.

Cant see it being that efficient to be honest!
