Geneva Motor Show launches live web cams

Thanks to Palexpo Geneva, the facility hall that runs the show, live web cams have just been launched to give overseas viewers a glimpse of what is going on at this year's event at any given time.

The web cams overlook halls four, five and six which are on the lower level. The cameras don't provide complete coverage of the show though as the Palexpo Geneva exhibition centre is too large - there's actually two levels providing 70,000 square-metres of exhibition area.

The first of such web cams can be found here: http://www.salon-auto.ch/scripts/webcam/webcam1-mobile.php - This link provides a view of halls four and five, which includes some of the Toyota stand and Volvo in the foreground.

The second web cam can be found here: http://www.salon-auto.ch/scripts/webcam/webcam2-mobile.php - The second camera overlooks Peugeot's stand, as well as parts of the BMW and Mercedes-Benz sections.

Don't forget to check back on CarAdvice throughout the Geneva show as we'll be providing a long string of debut and launch coverage over the next few days.

Geneva Motor Show initially opens its doors to the press on March 1.
