Speed error - My wifes last car a Laguna wagon had Sat Nav and cruise. You'd set the speed on the cruise to 80mph, the Sat Nav was saying you were doing 78mph and the speedo was aimed at 84mph...Uh. In this day and age its not good enough but speedos tend to over read Yes?

They will have dumped the Pug now for the Bug...ha ha :)

Just checked the ford website, they do 2 different outputs from 1.8 and 2.0 engines. 1.8 rated at 75Kw only good for 180kmh, a 1.8lit 94 Kw good for 198kmh, a 2.0 97.5kw (auto only) and the 105Kw top end 203Kw. Seems like they were thrashing it then, but having said that I had a 2.0litre rated at 192kmh but did do 205kmh once.

Hi Lcat - Dunno mate, nobody puts engine sizes ont there cars anymore other than Merc and BMW and they get it wrong.
An educated guess would be the 2.0litre 105Kw model to go that sorta speed at those revs. The 1.8 would take a while to get that fast. Its a base model the 'edge' I think as it has steel wheels. Anything above would have alloys.
Most of these 2.0models should be doing about 2400rpm at 110Kmh.

Duck,
go educate yourself first mate then come back and comment.

so have you guys brushed up on your "touch parking" skills yet?
i found it quite spun how they actually fit a 4m vehicle into a 3.5m space
