its funny how everyone says "Torque steer good luck" when they haven't even driven the VXR
i have owned mine for over a year now and there is absolutely no torque steer (well maybe a touch)
but if you have wrists like a kitten and tuck shop arms then dont bother buying a FWD car
you should really try and look past the older FWD cars with all the trouble with torque steer because the setup on the VXR is bloody awesome
if you want a review of the car i'd say it is a nice car very sexy
interior styling is way better than the old astra turbo
stereo is 100% improvement on the old astra (SIX STACKER)
seats are 100% better than the old one
suspension set up and sports button are way ahead of the 03 astra turbo
power figures are 30kw more than the old astra turbo and until you get about 20,000kms on the dial you wont really feel the extra power because thats around the time this little rocket opens it ECU to the full potential
so it's got styling, handling, power, ICE and its very sexy

HSV’s Phil Harding said he believes that the VXR would appeal to traditional HSV buyers. JOKE AS THIS HAS STANDARD DASH, AND BUGGER ALL ASIDE FROM STICKERS ON REAR WINDOW. Half baked attempt to bring the bar to the 4cylinder sector. No AWD and torque steer problems. ABSOLUTE JOKE

Has anyone driven the VXR yet??? I cant seem to find any reviews on this car. I am keen to buy one but want a comparison with the WRX for value for money and the 2WD vs AWD comparison, if there is one.
