The official unveiling of the new Ford Falcon is now just hours away, and in true CarAdvice style, we plan to bring you all the no-fuss details as quickly as possible.

Along with the sedan, Ford is also set to showcase the brand new Falcon ute as well as the highly anticipated FPV range.
Whilst the brand new FPV GT will be toting an HSV-topping (just) 5.4-litre V8 engine, the new F6 is without doubt the performance car to look out for, tipped to produce a restrained 300kW from its force-fed six.

Im not sure how far behind QLD is…I know SA is 1/2 hour behind VIC and WA is now in Daylight Savings as well…which means 2 hours…and I think NT is the same as SA.

I bet holden will have another recall before the new falcon is released. They allready recalled the Pontiac in the USA cause the yanks saw a holden badge on some of the cars and they didnt know what it was. Holden is slowly fadin away here in OZ, falcon will be falcon comodore will be nothing.

If I was a Yank with a Holden G8 I wouldn’t really worry about it. Afterall it was only the first couple of shipments that were affected which means that they would actually be somewhat unique..
Holden people are in panic mode cause the new falcon is gonna shit all over the VE. So far 205Kw and 395nm of torque. Holden allready lost the battle. How much more humiliation does Ford have to do to Holden. It happens always after every new Ford model comes out. Holden go to the yanks and stay a recalled pontiac.
Well it is true that where all holdens go they are always recalled. They try and rename em to something else but people do find out that they are a clapped out holden. I heard rumours that holden commodores will be sent to Iraq and be used as target practice. To many recalls so they have to be used for something

Here is some interesting info a guy recently had his Cobra Dynoed he got 313 KWs at the flywheel…..pfttttttt so much for 302 FPV!
So lets hope that the rumour of the GT having only 310 kws is crap cause that would mean your going to get the same engine that was in the Cobra…yawn! Wake me up when we reach a 100 clicks please….

Looking at the photo of the suppossed ghia tells me that it looks almost exactly like a BF2. Even th shape where the lower grill is just replacing where the number plate is on the BF2. Put front of the onion that will make you cry of dissapointment against the current and you will see what I mean. We will see in 30 minutes what the real car critics say. Holden commodore car sales are falling so that means that commodore will be dead soon but Falcon will be continuing in USA as a Ford falcon. You might as well give up right now and just admit that Ford falcon will be goin on forever and commodore will fade away. Bring it on Ford and put commodore out of business.
This “NEW” Falcon is nothing of the sort. It the old car in new clothing, completly pathetic. It’s not even a new chassis, Holden don’t have to worry about anything.
