Ferrari FF

Ferrari has issued some more photographs of their four-seater FF model due to the considerable interest in the car. The FF is seen here testing in the snow, and the more you look at its shape and style, the more it grows on you.

The ‘FF’ is also Ferrari’s first four-wheel drive car and will essentially replace the 612 Scaglietti, which frankly, I never found all that appealing.

Under the bonnet lies a 12-cylinder, 6.3–litre direct injection engine that develops 485 kW (651 HP) with 682 Nm of torque and can sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds.

On board is Ferrari’s electronic dynamic control system and working in concert with the four-wheel drive system, known as 4RM, the FF should deliver exceptional high-performance handling in a wide-range of road conditions.

Weight should be down too as the 4RM system weighs up to 50 percent less than traditional four-wheel-drive systems. Other performance enhancing features include the magnetorheological damping system (SCM3) and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes.

There is no doubt whatsoever, that the ‘FF’ will be another hit model for Ferrari. If only I had the money…

The FF will debut at the 2011 Geneva motor show.
