2011 Renult Megane Monaco GP coupe Geneva preview

Renault has announced it will be unveiling a new coupe at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March, called the Renault Megane Monaco GP.

Complete details of the car haven't been released yet, but the car will feature things like pearl Arctic White paintwork on the exterior for that bright, crisp look, as well as contrasting black details, such as 17 inch Celsium black alloy wheels, gloss black front grille and fascia, gloss black side mirrors, foglight surrounds and door trimming. The car also gets gloss black headlight backgrounds and a rear diffuser for that aggressive touch.

The standard equipment list is said to be very similar to that found on the Renault Megane Dynamique coupe and the Renault Megane Carminat TomTom Live special edition (not sold in Australia). This means it's likely to feature rear parking sensors, satellite navigation and electric folding door mirrors as standard.

The Renault Megane Monaco GP coupe will also feature a bespoke 'Monaco GP' interior trim, sporting heavily-bolstered leather seats and plenty of carbon grey materials throughout. It will also feature a number of 'Monaco GP' logos and badging.

Renault has apparently said the car will go on sale in international markets from April 2011. We'll be sure to provide further details of the car, and a possible Australian launch, upon the car's release at the Geneva Motor Show, commencing March 1.
