Renowned BMW tuning and racing car specialist, AC Schnitzer, has just taken its hand to the new MINI Countryman. Unfortunately, modifications and revisions are limited to visual enhancements only.
AC Schnitzer has said this is only the first phase of the package though, and more engineering and tuning is underway to try to unlock more power from the factory engines.
As it sits, the AC Schnitzer MINI Countryman gets AC’s latest 18- or 19-inch alloy wheel design, a number of bespoke aluminium interior features, such as an AC gear knob and special AC pedals, as well as a digital gear selection display.
As we mentioned, upgrades are limited at this stage, but AC will be unleashing more power from both the turbocharged 1.6-litre S engine and the normally aspirated Cooper 1.6-litre engine, in the very near future. We’ll keep you updated.
