2011 Smart ForTwo Pulse

On the outside, the Pulse edition gets a black grille, black spotlight surrounds and black side mirror covers. There's also new twin three-spoke wheels fitted with wider 195/50 R15 tyres on the front and 175/55 R15 on the front.

The Pulse also gets a discreetly styled bodykit, showcasing minor flares on both the front apron and side skirts, along with a revised rear bumper bar incorporating a more aggressive design over the standard model.

Other major details include the option of three different engine packages; a 52kW petrol hybrid, a 62kW turbocharged petrol and a 40kW diesel option fitted with a particulate filter.

The Smart ForTwo Pulse will be available in both coupe and convertible form from February this year, with deliveries commencing in April. Pricing details are yet to be announced.
